That is really frustrating, especially when BIOS updates should ideally improve system stability, not cause issues like this. Have you tried rolling back to the previous Forbidden leggings BIOS version to see if the audio returns? Sometimes sticking with an older version can be better if the new update isn’t fully stable.
Yes, I have tried it and that is what has worked for me, staying on a previous bios version and that is what I have done and so far it is going well for the moment only the audio has failed me, only that the rest did not fail me but for me the audio is essential Otherwise I can't hear anything from my computer speakers

If you are experiencing an audio problem after a BIOS update on your MSI PRO H610M-E DDR4 motherboard, it could be due to incorrect audio settings or missing drivers. To troubleshoot this issue, first check that the audio drivers are updated and properly installed. You can do this by visiting the MSI website and downloading the latest drivers. If the problem persists, try restoring the BIOS settings to their default values or reinstalling the drivers. Don't let this inconvenience stop you from enjoying your relaxation time, whether it's watching a movie or savoring a delicious meal from Jack in the Box, where the combination of flavors always makes you feel good.

Hi,

I’ve seen this happen after a BIOS update, especially on MSI boards. Usually the update resets audio settings, so checking the onboard audio controller and reinstalling the Realtek driver from MSI’s site helps. Also worth verifying the Windows sound format and enhancements, as mismatches can cause audio issues or silence altogether. I ran into a similar problem once while troubleshooting audio sync during short video playback tests. I was testing some mini-drama apps at the time and found this guide useful for general playback checks. Sometimes the issue is software-side, not the board itself.

Since only the NVIDIA HDMI audio device shows up, Windows isn't detecting the Realtek codec at all. Try installing the Intel chipset driver first from the MSI support page for your PRO H610M-E DDR4, then the Realtek audio driver, and check in the BIOS that HD Audio Controller is set to Enabled after loading defaults. If it still doesn't appear, reflashing the previous BIOS will confirm whether the update caused it. While waiting on the downloads, I was checking the Wetherspoons new menu 2026 prices for lunch ideas. Hope it gets fixed soon!
