I recently purchased an MSI GF63 laptop and noticed that when the laptop is plugged in, I experience static electricity when running my hands around the edges of the keyboard. I haven't encountered this issue with my previous laptops, designer fashion & luxury shopping so I'm curious to know if this is a common occurrence with MSI laptops. I'm concerned about the long-term impact on the equipment and whether it's something that should be addressed under warranty.

oh so bad! I am also experiencing this static electricity problem. it is very light. I don't think it has a big impact, but every time I touch it, it gives me an unpleasant experience

Hey there! I've experienced the same static energy issue with my GF63 keyboard. It's a bit unusual for me too, as I haven't had this with other laptops. I'm curious if it could potentially affect the laptop in the long run. Has anyone found a solution for Remote Work Visas ? Wondering if it's a common thing for MSI or if it's worth looking into warranty options. Thanks!

I've seen this happen with laptops like the GF63, especially when the charger isn't properly grounded or when using it in dry environments. Static buildup can also come from the surface you're sitting on or even the clothes you're wearing, since synthetic fabrics tend to generate more static electricity. Using a grounded outlet, switching to a different charger, or placing the laptop on a wooden desk usually helps. Interestingly, breathable natural fabrics reduce static issues, which is something I learned while browsing everyday wear guides on https://apricocia.com/ . Small changes in environment and materials often make a noticeable difference.

A slight tingling sensation when touching a laptop’s metal surface while charging can be caused by leakage current or poor grounding. Try a properly grounded outlet and check the charger and cable. If the sensation is strong or continues, stop using the device and have it checked by an authorized technician. This is also a useful safety precaution for devices or accessories related to xxbrits.
